01Operator & Acceptance
The KickoffAPI service ("Service") is operated by Viralize SARLAU, a limited liability company (SARL à Associé Unique) registered in Morocco, with its registered office at Angle Avenue Lalla Yacout et Rue El Aaraar, Résidence Galis, Imm 9, Etg 4, Apt 17, Casablanca, Morocco ("KickoffAPI", "we", "us"). By registering for or using the Service you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
02Description of Service
KickoffAPI provides a synchronized, low-latency cache and delivery system for global football (soccer) data via a RESTful JSON API and WebSockets. Data is sourced from third-party providers and is provided for informational and application-integration purposes.
03Eligibility & Account
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for keeping your API key and account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
04Acceptable Use & Fair Use
Your API key maps to a subscription tier with defined rate limits (per minute and per day), which you must respect. You may not: resell, redistribute, sublicense or publicly republish the raw data; cache or store the data to recreate or substitute the Service; share or distribute API keys to third parties; or use the Service for any unlawful purpose. Where you use the data in connection with betting or gambling products, you are solely responsible for complying with all applicable gambling, advertising and consumer laws in every jurisdiction in which you operate. Breach may result in immediate suspension or termination.
05Payment, Plans & Credits
Paid tiers are billed in advance (monthly or annually) through our payment providers (Stripe and PayPal). Prices are exclusive of any applicable taxes. Each plan includes a set request quota. If you exceed your plan's included quota, requests are served from any prepaid API credits on your account; when no credits remain, further requests are paused until your quota resets or you add more credits. Prepaid API credits are optional, may be purchased in any amount from a US$5 minimum at the rate shown at checkout (currently US$1 = 25,000 requests), are applied automatically once your plan quota is used, are non-refundable, and expire 12 months after the date of purchase. The free Hobby plan is capped at its included quota and does not use credits. If a payment fails, access may be downgraded or suspended until resolved.
06Free Trial & Refund Policy
New paid subscribers may start a one-time 7-day free trial, available once per account and beginning when a payment method (card or PayPal) is added. You will not be charged if you cancel before the trial ends; if you do not cancel, the plan renews and the first charge applies at the end of the trial. After the trial, subscription fees (monthly or annual) are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods, except where required by applicable law. You may cancel at any time before your next renewal from your dashboard or by emailing [email protected]. The free Hobby plan is always free and requires no payment method. Statutory consumer rights, where they apply, are unaffected.
07Service Levels & Credits
We offer a 99.9% monthly availability commitment only on Enterprise plans (custom contracts). Standard self-serve tiers (Hobby, Starter, Pro, Ultra) are provided without an availability guarantee. If, in a calendar month, the API's availability falls below this target due to causes within our reasonable control, you may request service credits as your sole and exclusive remedy: a credit of 10% of that month's fee for availability below 99.9%, or 25% for availability below 99.0%. Credits are applied to future invoices, are capped at one month's fee, and must be requested within 30 days. The target excludes scheduled maintenance, force majeure, and failures of upstream data providers or third-party networks. Apart from these credits, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available".
08Data Accuracy & No Reliance
Football data is inherently variable and depends on upstream providers. We do not warrant that data is complete, accurate, or synchronized to the second, and the Service must not be relied upon as the sole basis for any betting, trading, or financial decision. You assume all risk arising from such use.
09Intellectual Property & Licence
The Service, software, documentation and KickoffAPI brand are owned by Viralize SARLAU. Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access the data and integrate it into your own application for your internal or end-user-facing use, without redistributing the raw data as a competing dataset or service.
10Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
11Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KickoffAPI (Viralize SARLAU) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for any betting or financial losses arising from use of or reliance on the Service. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
12Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Viralize SARLAU from claims, damages and expenses arising out of your use of the Service, your applications, or your breach of these Terms or of any applicable law.
13Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, non-payment, abuse, or where required by law. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
14Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or site notice, and continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
15Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco. Any dispute arising from the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Casablanca, Morocco.

17API Version Deprecation (v1 → v2)
KickoffAPI has introduced version 2 of the API (/api/v2) with a native ID space and improved data-source independence. The legacy v1 endpoints (/api/v1) remain available during a grace period but are deprecated. During this period, v1 continues to serve API-Football integer IDs with the legacy response envelope. New integrations should use v2. Existing integrations should migrate to v2 before the sunset date, which will be announced with at least 90 days' notice. During the grace window, v1 traffic is monitored for usage-split telemetry to plan the orderly shutdown. After the sunset date, v1 endpoints will return 410 Gone with a migration error and a link to the v2 docs.
